Much like the earely 2000's where dropping a vowel made your startup or project name exciting, the 2020's version of that trend is to prefix your project name with the word Open.

I've seen so many different products, announcements, and general vaporware all get announced following this new naming trend. It seems like folks are just trying to jump on the bandwagon and make their product seem like it's open source software.
